How do interviews work?
Once we have completed our intro call, we'll send you the the top matched candidate based on your needs. Along with that match, we curate 2-3 additional options that you can interview in the event the top match isn't a match for you. We will organize calls via Google Meet and sit in to answer any open questions on the process. After the call we will request feedback and if you are ready, move forward with getting the match set up to work with you as soon as possible.
How much does this cost?
The rate differs by role but on average Designers, QA Engineers and Project Managers start at $65/h while Engineers and Product Owners start at $75/h. Depending on the level of expertise you are looking for, we'll match you with someone who is the right fit for your needs and your budget. Time is billed weekly based on actual hours spent for hourly contractors and monthly for retained talent or teams.
To make sure you feel completely comfortable, we begin each engagement with a no risk 1 week trial period. You'll have time to get to know your new team (or team member), get comfortable with their communication style and work output. If you're feeling great about the new addition, we'll bill you for the time and continue on to a successful engagement. If not, we won't bill you for that week and we can match you with another talented teammate.
How do you screen talent?
All talent on the platform goes through a 4 step process. The first step is culture, interest and soft skill fit. This step is important as the success of projects doesn't rely solely on technical acumen. Being able to work with a team effectively is key and we screen for that. After this step, candidates speak with a discipline lead who does a technical interview to assess their hard skills and ensure they have the expertise necessary to be a part of the network. Next up is "The Test." Candidates do either a live or take home skills test that matches the day to day work they'll be expected to do. For engineers, this usually takes the form of building against a functional specification and demonstrating the test cases pass. For the last step, candidates are background checked (work history, criminal history, education history. Typically ~5% of candidates make it through the process.
How long does the matching process take?
Most matches are done within 1 business day. If you are looking for talent with very niche skills or need a whole team, the process can take ~ a week.
